Commission Process: Wildlife and Memories Watercolor Artwork
1. Initial Consultation (0%)
Discussion: You'll discuss the wildlife or memories subject, size, setting, and style you envision with Tim. Key elements such as color palette, lighting, and mood will also be reviewed. Client should provide details and pictures of the subject(s) to be included.
Project Estimate: Based on the consultation, an timeline estimate will be provided for the artwork, excluding framing, delivery, and installation.
2. Rough Draft - Sketch (30% Milestone)
Concept Sketch: A basic sketch is created, focusing on composition and subject placement.
Client Review: You will provide feedback, and adjustments will be made as necessary before moving forward.
Timeline Update: Confirm the timeline for the next phase.
3. Oneline - Detailed Outline (60% Milestone)
Refined Drawing: A detailed, one-to-one sized outline of the subject and background is developed, capturing more intricate elements. This drawing will be to scale of final product.
Artist retains Marketing Use Rights
Client Review: Feedback is gathered for any adjustments before color application.
4. Color Rough - Base Color Application (90% Milestone)
Color Application: Base colors are applied, using Tim's custom watercolor palette.
Client Interaction: You will review the color balance, and small tweaks can be made before final detailing.
5. Final Completion (100%)
Final Touches: The artwork is completed with fine details, bringing the scene to life. Certificate of Authenticity and Ownership Provided
Final Review: You will have the opportunity to review and approve the completed painting.
Payment Terms
50% Deposit: Due at the start of the project to confirm the commission.
50% Final Payment: Due upon completion and client approval of the artwork.
Separate Charges: Framing, delivery, shipping, and installation are not included in the artwork price and will be billed separately.
Most 20x30 in artwork starts at $500.
Framing, Delivery, and Installation
Framing: You have the option to work with Matted Memories & More for professional matting and framing, or you can choose your own framing service.
Delivery/Shipping: Depending on your location, delivery can be arranged locally, or the artwork can be shipped with insured packaging.
Installation: If required, installation services can be arranged at an additional cost.
Timeline and Milestones
Initial Consultation: Set within a week of your inquiry.
30% Sketch Review: Delivered within 1-2 weeks after the initial consultation.
60% Oneline Review: Delivered 1-2 weeks after sketch approval.
90% Color Rough: Delivered 1-2 weeks after the oneline review.
100% Final Completion: Delivered 2-4 weeks after color rough approval, depending on complexity.

His mastery of color layering and detail ensures that the artwork captures the essence of the wildlife subject.
Framing Options: Once the painting is complete, you can choose to have it framed by Matted Memories & More, LLC, a trusted partner of Tim’s. They offer professional matting and framing services, installation, and delivery services that complement the artwork, providing options for materials, frame styles, and finishes to suit your preferences.
Delivery: After completion (art only or framing), the finished artwork will be ready for pickup or delivery, depending on your location and preferences.
